We went up from Jefferson Notch Road, over Jefferson to Washington
and down the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail.

The ascent:
At the trailhead the temp was in the low 50s with a 10 MPH breeze.
The wind picked up to 20 MPH at The Link.
30 MPH at Lower Cap.
40 MPH on summit and temp dropped to mid 40s.
Mark brought Ben&Jerry's Double Fudge Something.
I brought Coffee Heath Bar Crunch,
Best summit ever.
On return:
Wind did diminish back to 30 as we approached The Cornice.
Back down to Upper cap, temp increased to near 60 when sun was out.
At very end of trail wind stopped and black files came out.
